So my friend got herself into trouble last year and to prevent her from going to jail, I helped bail her out. Why? Because I’m a good friend. She said she’d pay me back “soon”… that was in June.

We’re now heading into February… and I have nothing. She lost her job earlier this week and honestly, I don’t feel sorry for her. She got herself into this mess, she should get herself out. Never post on facebook that you are looking for a new job without first telling your employer (you know, the only person that will give you a job) first.

But here’s what ticks me off the most…. She’s buying baby clothes for our friend’s newborn… REALLY? YOU FREAKING OWE ME MONEY!! ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS?!?!?

I don’t consider her a real friend anymore. If she ever does pay me back, I’m taking her off my facebook. I don’t need her crappy drama in my life anymore. I doubt seriously that I’ll ever get my money back… but who knows. Maybe I will. I think there might be a 5% chance. But I’m not holding my breath.

While in Las Vegas, the hubby and I got suckered into listening to a presentation (Hey it was $75 for dining and $75 for slot machines…why not?). We went thinking it would only be 2 hours of our time… it was actually just over 4… and a waste of our time.


Wyndham Vacation Resorts is not a timeshare… it’s a vacation ownership. You actually get a Deed…. Here’s the catch. It’s a points system. You purchase so many points and you get to use them to take vacations. The points pay for your hotel. Only this is a special Wyndham owners only hotel. Not any Joe off the street can visit a Wyndham Resort. You have to know or be an owner.

We politely said no (several times) before our representative let us go to the Exit portion. We talked to another guy, told him that we had a good time but this wasn’t for us and we didn’t have the money to pay for something like this. So he makes us a deal (one we can’t refuse). We signed up for 308,000 points for just under $3000 (just had to put down a small down payment). This was our chance to try it without making the big purchase. 308,000 points is normally $67,000 (plus a monthly maintenance fee). So we took our book and went to plan our next vacation.

As we flipped through, we noticed something… Various places in Hawaii were almost 300,000+ points. A week in San Diego was 200,000 points. We looked at each other confused. To go on a vacation would use up all of our points. That couldn’t be right… So we flipped to the Smokey Mountain. 60-80,000 per week. (Note: These were all for 1 bedroom places).

So basically to take 1 good vacation, we’d have to use all of our points… we asked each other “What was the point?”  We’re going to have to spend money on a hotel regardless and I don’t have to be in the lap of luxury. I’m just using the hotel room to sleep in. I’m not on vacation for the hotel room.

The following day, we wrote a letter to Wyndham cancelling our membership. The more we thought about it, the more we don’t see Wyndham as a good fit for us. Vacations use up all of your points at once. We couldn’t see the reason to stay with Wyndham.

In return, I have done what Wyndham requested. I am posting this to let my friends and family know about Wyndham. Maybe they are right for you… More power to you. They are not right for us.

I am looking for an avatar of Shuuhei Hisagi with a Christmas theme… Needs to be 100x100 pixels or 24.4 KB (whichever is smaller).

I want to use it on another site that I’m on. I’m currently using something I found on dA that is of Captain Ukitake wearing a Christmas hat… but I really want Shuuhei.
